Why I am going into politics
In 2025, I decided to go into politics. My election campaign is financed exclusively by my family, without the support of parties or political patrons. I am not looking for a career – I am running for office because I am sure:
Honesty
The city can and should be governed openly: more transparently, honestly and in the interests of the citizens.
Efficiency
I know how the system works from the inside. I see where money and resources are lost, and where real changes can be achieved.
Closeness to people
I am convinced that politics should serve people, and not the other way around. That is why I am going into it.

My name is Anna Shendik (maiden name Vasilyeva). I was born on February 4, 1987, in the maternity hospital of Maardu. I went to first grade in Tallinn, but due to family circumstances, I lived for some time with my grandmother and aunt in Sillamae, where I studied at Kannuka School and graduated from a music school in piano.
I have been living in Tallinn again since the 9th grade. Here I graduated from Mahtra Gymnasium, after which I entered the Tallinn University of Technology (TTU), Faculty of Economics, Department of Financial Management. I also received a master’s degree there.
My home, my strength
I have been married since 2014. My husband and I are raising three children: two daughters and a son. Our family is my support and main source of inspiration. And our home is a place where there is warmth, life and, to be honest, quite a few pets.
What I do
I am an economist and tax consultant by profession. I run my own company that provides accounting and tax services to clients all over Estonia and the Baltics.
