About me
Since I was five, my life has been in sports: artistic gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics, Team Gym. These were years of daily training, discipline and overcoming myself. I am a multiple champion of Estonia, a prize winner of international competitions, a participant in the European Championships in 2007 and 2009. At 21, I ended my sports career, but the habit of winning has stayed with me forever.
The path to politics
In 2019, I ran for the Estonian parliament (Riigikogu) from the United Left Party. That was the first time I openly stated my priorities: social justice, protection of workers, and development of social infrastructure. From 2019 to 2022, I worked with Edgar Savisaar. We created a “Discussion Club” where we discussed the most pressing and inconvenient topics for the authorities. I participated in political events and conferences both in Estonia and abroad – almost until the last days of his life.
What I do
In addition to politics, I am an entrepreneur and a specialist with practical experience in construction, design and organization of a safe working environment. I conduct risk analyses, develop plans for labor protection and health, draw up instructions, train adults. I am convinced that knowledge and continuous development are the basis of safe work and sustainable business.
My education is multifaceted.
• higher education in business management and international tourism;
• diploma in logistics and transport management;
• professional training in labor protection and first aid;
• currently studying for a master’s degree (MBA) in financial decision management.
Youth and pensioners
In politics and public work, my focus is on two groups that are most often left without a voice: young people and pensioners. I want school, college and university graduates to have a real chance to start life in Estonia, and for our older generations to live with dignity, without fear and want.
